Malaga defensive midfielder Ignacio Camacho has been scouted by Liverpool for the last few months, but the team has not shown enough interest in the man to make him a real offer. It appears as though that situation is about to change.
According to the Metro, Liverpool are ready to open talks with Camacho’s reps over a transfer deal. Per the source, the Reds will likely offer around £7 million for the 25-year-old Spanish midfielder.
Camacho is in his sixth season with Malaga after four sparingly-used campaigns in Madrid. He won the UEFA Under-17 title in 2007 and the UEFA Under-21 title in 2013
He has gained a reputation for being a solid passer with a strong interception ability too.
So far, the only significant transfer deal made under Jurgen Klopp has been Marko Grujic in a £5.1 million transfer from Red Star Belgrade only to loan him back immediately to the Serbian outfit.
