Sky Sports has reported that FC Barcelona have signed custodian Jose Manuel Pinto from Celta de Vigo on loan for the rest of the season and have paid 500,000 euros as part of the transfer fee.
Pinto is not supposed to be a threat to first choice goalkeeper Victor Valdes and has actually been signed in a hurry to compensate for Albert Jorquera who is out for the rest of the season. Jorquera was already looking to take his bow out of the Camp Nou cathedral after spending match after match in the Barca substitutes bench.
Seems like Pinto would have to do the same.
