Brazilian goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri was signed by Liverpool this summer but he was already reported to be frustrated with no matches for the Reds under his belt.
Now it has emerged that he is quite happy at Anfield and is quite glad to carry on under manager Rafael Benitez. Cavalieri was handed his first match for Liverpool this week and he’s grateful to manager Rafa for that.
The Brazilian said: “I have an excellent relationship with Pepe Reina and he has been one of the people who has helped me the most since I arrived at the club.
“I always respect and accept any decision of the coach, but I will be always ready to perform when the chance emerges.”
So there is at least one Liverpool player who is happy playing off the bench!
