Tottenham fans: What is the best strike partnership now at the club?

Spurs have spent over £50 million on their current attacking quartet, and it’s surely an area which should help them get out of trouble at the bottom of the Premier League. However, which combination of strikers would you choose if you were in Harry Redknapp’s shoes?

The Daily Mail reports that the Tottenham manager is admant that Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe can work well as a front line. Never mind the fact that his predecessors struggled to get them clicking with each other, Redknapp reckons that they will make a formidable partnership, although the latter will obviously be missing from the line-up for several weeks.

Keane is likely to start alongside Roman Pavlyuchenko against Arsenal on Sunday following his £16m return to Spurs from Liverpool and Redknapp said: ‘I don’t see a problem. Robbie and Jermain can play together. They are good players and good players can always play together.’

Juande Ramos was of the opinion that Bent and Pavlyuchenko couldn’t play together earlier in the season, and while Redknapp has recently sung the praises of the former Charlton man, perhaps he’ll be sold in the summer after dropping further down the pecking order. However, the Russian is possibly the star talent out of all four players, should it be a case of him with either Defoe OR Keane for Tottenham?
