Chilean winger ignoring reports linking him with move away from the club.
Alexis Sanchez has insisted he has no intention of leaving Barcelona this summer according to ESPN.
Reports in recent weeks have strong linked the player with the likes of Arsenal, Inter Milan and Juventus.
The Chilean midfielder has struggled to establish himself in the Barcelona first-team since arriving from Udinese for a fee in the region of £30 million in 2011.
It has been suggested that should Barcelona persuade David Villa to sign a new contract, they would look to move Alexis Sanchez on with Arsenal thought to be leading the race for the player’s signature.
But Sanchez has poured cold water on the rumours insisting he is ready to fight for his place in the team.
He reported that he is aware of the speculation but insisted that none of it represented his own desires for his career.
The Catalan giants may feel differently about Sanchez’s future though with many of the clubs fans expressing their belief that the player is not up to the standard required at the Nou Camp.
The player has been whistled by his own fans in recent weeks after missing a number of easy chances and looks unlikely to improve on his current record of five goals in 34 appearances.
