Club President denies speculation linking club with Real Madrid boss.
Inter Milan have poured cold water on speculation linking the club with Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho according to Sky Sports.
Reports in recent weeks have suggested Mourinho could return to the San Siro after the Portuguese boss admitted that his former clubs will always have a special place in his heart.
The ‘Special One’ looks certain to leave current club Real Madrid at the end of the season. The Spanish giants have fallen behind bitter rivals Barcelona in the race for the La Liga title after a disappointing start to the season.
Spanish newspaper Marca also reported dressing room unrest at the Bernabeu, with Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos reportedly informed the club’s hierarchy that they intend to hand in transfer requests should Mourinho remain in charge of the side next season.
But Inter President Massimo Moratti insisted the conditions are not suitable for Mourinho to return to the club and reaffirmed his faith in current boss Andrea Stramaccioni.
The news will be music to the ears of Chelsea fans. The Stamford Bridge side are looking to appoint a successor to interim manager Rafa Benitez come the summer and the ‘Special One’ is the overwhelming fans’ favourite to take over the Chelsea hot seat.
