Bayern want troubled Reds striker.
Bayern Munich are preparing a summer bid to rescue Luis Suarez from his Liverpool nightmare this summer, according to The Metro.
The Bundesliga champions have been heavily linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Robert Lewandowski but he now seems destined for Manchester United so the club have now turned their attentions to the Liverpool forward.
Bayern have been mooted to make a move for Suarez ever since it was announced that Pep Guardiola would be taking over the reins in Bavaria this summer and they are now set to make a formal approach for the troubled Uruguayan.
Having recently acquired Mario Gotze from Borussia, noises from the club suggested that the Polish striker won’t be joining Guardiola’s revolution and recently his agent, Malik Barthel, gave perhaps the biggest indication yet that his client would be heading to England.
“I can tell you only one thing – Robert is interested in the future coming to the Premier League,” he said. ‘The Premier League is very interesting for Robert.”
Liverpool have reiterated their desire to keep a hold of Suarez despite him receiving a ten game ban for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic, but a big money offer could force them to change their minds and buy a striker who can stay out of trouble with the funds they get for him.
