French international forward Loic Remy has been arrested on suspicion of rape according to the Metro.

The 26 year old is said to have been arrested along with his cousin and a third party after a woman alleged she has been raped last week.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “Three men, aged 26, 23 and 22, were arrested at an address in Fulham on suspicion of rape.

“They remain in custody at a west London police station.”

Remy joined QPR in the January transfer window and has proven to be a successful signing, scoring six goals in 13 Premier League fixtures, but failed to prevent his side from suffering relegation to the Championship.
