QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt could be set to join Al Aln in the United Arab Emirates this summer, according to talkSPORT.

Rangers boss Harry Redknapp is set for a summer overhaul at the club following their relegation into the Championship and the Moroccan international is said to be near the top of the list of stars looking to move as quickly as possible.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away several times before but it looks as though it may actually happen this time as mega rich Arab side Al Aln are said to be lining up a swoop to take him away from Loftus Road this summer.

Al Aln are keen to find a tricky winger to pair up with former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan and have identified Taarabt as their primary target are Rangers are reported to be open to offers as little as £8 million.

Taarabt began his career at French side Lens before Harry Redknapp picked him up and brought him to Spurs in 2007. He struggled to get into the Tottenham side and in 2009 he began the first of two separate loan spells with QPR before joining permanently in 2010.

Since then he has made over 150 appearances in west London, scoring 32 times.
