Striker weighs up options ahead of busy summer in west London.
QPR striker DJ Campbell is said to be weighing up his options after failing to establish himself at the club, according to talkSPORT.
The 31-year-old spent last season on loan with Ipswich Town and Blackburn Rovers despite QPR struggling in front of goal. He proved a hit for Ipswich, bagging 10 goals in 17 appearances, but failed to find the net in seven appearances for Rovers.
Campbell is coming up to the end of his current deal at Loftus Road, but negotiations are being held up by a broken metatarsal and he has admitted that he is unsure about what is in store around the corner.
“I’m still under contract but this is my last year so we’re speaking to a few people at the minute, as well as QPR,” he said.
“It’s the club that I support so we will look at it and we will see what happens and hopefully we can sort something out soon.
“It’s my team but every manager is different and they have different plans so it’s just football, I’m experienced now and 31 so I know how it works.
“Within the next month or two we should know something but at the minute I am just trying to get fit again and that is the main thing.”
