But forward ace will focus on Brazil first.
Brazilian hotshot Neymar has revealed his excitement at lining up alongside the likes of Xavi and Lionel Messi this summer as he prepares to join Barcelona, according to Sky Sports.
The 21-year-old ended months of speculation surrounding his future last week when he finally agreed a deal to join the Spanish champions and will link up with the club later in the summer.
However, before he can begin to get carried away about this new chapter of his career he has the Confederations Cup to navigate first. Brazil will face Mexico, Japan and Italy in Group A, which kicks off on June 15th.
And though he is excited by joining up with his new teammates in Catalonia, he has insisted that he is fully focussed for the summer tournament with his country.
“My feeling is like having butterflies in my stomach. I still feel it,” he said.
“I will be fulfilling my dream of playing with several stars like Messi, Xavi, (Andres) Iniesta, Dani Alves, Adriano and others.
“I am anxious to get there, but now I have to focus on the Confederations Cup and to help Brazil win the title.”
Neymar has scored 20 goals in 32 appearances for the Brazilian national side so far.
