Young Spaniard keen to continue development at Liverpool.
Liverpool youngster Suso is happy with life at Anfield despite being linked with a return to his native Spain, according to Sky Sports.
The 19-year-old Spaniard enjoyed a breakthrough season in the Premier League this year, with manager Brendan Rodgers keen to promote players from the club’s youth team.
Suso initially joined Liverpool from Cadiz in 2010, and feels he is in the right place to continue his development, gaining a great deal of first-team experience this season alongside other youngsters such as Raheem Sterling and Andre Wisdom.
He admits he has other offers, but says he is happy at Liverpool and that he can’t see himself moving at the moment.
“This year for me has been beyond fantastic,” he said. “At Liverpool this season has been great and I’m very happy.
“Next year I’ll probably stay at Liverpool. I know there are quite a few offers but I will not go. I’m happy at Liverpool.”
Suso is a Spain Under-21 international and part of a very promising generation of skillful Spanish midfielders. Former Reds boss Rafael Benitez first spotted his talent at a young age and he should fit in well with current manager Rodgers’ style of play.
