The 29 year old has been linked with a £17 million move to the Spanish giants.
Fernando Torres has said he is flattered by speculation linking him with the Spanish champions but insists that he is happy at current club Chelsea according to Goal.com.
The striker signed for Chelsea for a British record £50 million in 2011 and has generally struggled with form during his time at the club.
Reports have suggested that Torres could be on the move back to Spain, with Barcelona keen on signing a number 9 this summer and have identified Torres as a target.
While Torres is flattered by the interest, the 29 year old is still keen on staying at Stamford Bridge and is looking forward to working with new manager Jose Mourinho.
“It’s always nice a club like that is interested,” Torres said of Barcelona. “But I want to stay and will talk to Mourinho later”.
Since returning to the club, Mourinho has said that he will try and help Torres rediscover his form, which has been absent during his time at Chelsea.
While at Liverpool, Torres was one of the most feared strikers in Europe, terrifying defenders like Nemanja Vidic with his pace and finishing skill.
If Torres could replicate that he would be a major asset for Chelsea but it remains to be seen whether the player will remain at Stamford Bridge this summer.
