Outspoken star back with the hoops.
QPR midfielder Joey Barton is facing an uncertain future after admitting that he is still keen on a move to Marseille but was forced to return to pre season training with the west London side, Sky Sports reports.
The 30-year-old had spent the previous campaign on loan with the French giants and had been hoping to secure a permanent deal to take him back this summer. However, no deal has been put in place yet and he remains tied to Harry Redknapp’s men on a long term contract.

“I think he’s looking for the club to give him a payday here and then he’ll go. I don’t know how it’s all going to end.”
Rumours had been going around that Barton had skipped out on his first day back at training to work on his fitness by himself, but he later took to Twitter to deny the claims.
“Up and off to training today. 1st day back. Like a new term at school. Albeit a school, you were once expelled from…”
