Nou Camp side set to bring in Etihad Stadium youngster.
Barcelona are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign highly rated Man City youngster Denis Suarez according to talkSPORT.
The 19 year old Spaniard has struggled to make an impact in the Etihad Stadium first team, more often than not finding his way barred by multi million pound signings, and with just a year to run on his current deal it appears that the attacking midfielder it set to move to the Nou Camp.
Suarez moved to Man City in May 2011 but his sum total of senior football amounts to 85 minutes of action garnered from two Capital One Cup fixtures.
The Spanish Under 20 international must clearly be talented enough to have appeared on the Barcelona radar which does make one wonder whether Man City are set to make a mistake in allowing the former Celta Vigo youth team player to join the La Liga giants.
Denis Suarez has impressed in the Man City reserves and has been on the club’s pre-season tour so this could well be a sale that comes to haunt the Premier League side in years to come.
