The striker pulled out of Liverpool’s friendly with Valerenga, with the club claiming that Suarez has a foot injury.
Luis Suarez has told Liverpool that he won’t play in anymore pre-season games as he looks to force through a move to Arsenal, the Daily Mirror reports.
The striker has already spoken of his desire to leave Anfield for a club that is playing in the Champions League, with Arsenal desperate to land the Uruguay international.
The Gunners have already had two bids rejected for Suarez, with Liverpool claiming that it will take a huge offer for them to consider selling the striker.
Suarez believes he is entitled to leave Liverpool and thinks that he has been lied to by the club.
The player insists that a gentleman agreement exists between himself and the club which states that he would be allowed to leave if a Champions League club offer more than £35 million for him.
Liverpool however, feel that they have no reason to sell the striker, who still has three years remaining on his contract and won’t even consider selling Suarez to a Premier League rival.
Now Suarez seems to be doing everything he can to force through a move to Emirates and is considering taking legal action against the club if he doesn’t get his way.
Liverpool eased past Valerenga, securing a 4-1 win without Luis Suarez’s assistance.
