Old Trafford side target Spanish Under 21 international.
Man United are considering a move for Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto according to the Metro.
The Old Trafford side failed in their attempts to land Thiago Alcantara, who left the Nou Camp for Bayern Munich, and David Moyes also made advances for Barcelona man Cesc Fabregas and it appears the Scot is now ready to try his luck on signing another member of the Catalan club’s squad.
The 21 year old starlet Roberto could reportedly be available for as little as £6m and Moyes is ready to make such a bid in the January transfer window.
The Spanish Under 21 international has made three sub appearances in La Liga action thus far this season and has only made two domestic league starts for Barcelona and may feel his chances of securing a regular spot in Gerardo Martino’s first team set-up are slim and therefore may be open to a move to join Man United.
