The 25 year old Argentine is apparently keen to unite with national team colleagues Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano and it’s a move that Nou Camp boss Gerardo Martino may well welcome as he looks to strengthen his attack.
Man City clearly have no need to sell but if the former Atletico Madrid man pushed for an Etihad Stadium exit then perhaps a move could be engineered though it should be noted that the striker has only recently signed a new long term contract that ties him to the Premier League side until 2017.
However Spanish sources claim that Aguero’s contract includes a clause that requires Man City to consider offers from either Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Aguero has been a massive success since his move to England, scoring the injury time winner that helped Man City to the Premier League title and racking up a very healthy total of 60 goals in 101 appearances.
