The Spanish winger has seen the arrival of Neymar and the resurgence of Alexis Sanchez limit his involvement in Gerardo Martino’s first team set-up and the 26 year old may be tempted by a fresh challenge and a move to Old Trafford may well interest in the speedy attacker.

Pedro is into his seventh season in the Barcelona first-team and is a consistent performer but has found himself being used as an impact sub in recent weeks, which may well compromise his chances of securing a prominent position in Vicente del Bosque’s 2014 World Cup finals squad.

David Moyes may well be keen to strengthen his wide-attacking options given the fact that the likes of Nani, Ashley Young and Luis Antonio Valencia have failed to make an impact this term.

Pedro has scored 75 goals in 235 appearances for Barcelona and is a proven talent who is more than capable of impressing at the highest level and would represent something of a coup if captured by a Man United side looking to re-assert themselves on both the Premier League and the Champions League following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson and a less than glorious start to the current campaign.

Pedro was of course among the scorers as Barcelona defeated Man United in the 2011 Champions League final.
