The brilliant and in-demand Belgium international is currently spending his third campaign in a row out on loan with high-flying Spanish outfit Atletico de Madrid, however, Courtois has said that he will make a final decision on where he will be playing next season in February.
Amazingly, despite the fact that the shot stopper has been at Stamford Bridge since signing for the west London club from Belgium side Genk on a five-year deal in July 2011, Courtois has still to make a single appearance for the Uefa Europa League holders in that time.
And now with the 21-year-old’s current contract with the Blues set to run out on June 30 2016, clubs from across the Continent are lining up to snap the keeper up, with both Barca and Atleti said to be leading the chase for the Belgium.
Chelsea, though, are said to be demanding a whopping £17 million for Courtois, a figure that is likely to put Atletico off, although the Catalans could afford that fee.
