Reports in Spain have suggested that the club have made an enquiry into taking the player on loan as he is still yet to maker an appearance for Brendan Rodgers’ men.
Granada are keen to bolster their defensive options and look to take advantage of the players situation. Ilori was just one of a number of players brought into the club over the summer, but he has found himself low down in the pecking order behind the likes of Cissokho, Toure, Skrtel and Agger this term.
“It feels great being a Liverpool player – coming to the Premier League has always been a dream for me,” he said at the time.
“I’m going to try to achieve everything I can. I want to play as much as possible and we’ll see what the future holds.”
Ilori’s agent confirmed that a short term move away looked likely, though he also said that as of yet there are only suitors with no concrete offers being made.
