La Liga giants Valencia are reportedly keen on bringing Iago Aspas back to Spain and have even sounded Liverpool out over the possibility of striking a deal to do so, according to Inside Futbol.

The Spanish side are already in the process of wrapping up a deal for Napoli forward Eduardo Vargas, having been given the green light to complete a £600,000 loan deal, but that does not signal the end of their January shopping as they continue to target the former Celta Vigo man.
Aspas has so far struggled to cement himself as a first team regular at Anfield since arriving over the summer and as a result he has been consistently linked with a move away from the club in the new year.
However, the Reds are reluctant to let him go despite not playing regularly as he provides cover for preferred pair Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez.
Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup has also been keeping an eye on the player’s situation with a view to making a move of his own, but he has expressed his doubt over whether Liverpool would actually make the player available so early on.
