And rightly so too, the Uruguayan hit man is virtually carrying the club to the Champions League by himself thanks to his scorching hot form this season.
Despite missing the first six games of the season for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic last term, he has somehow found the resources to tuck away 22 goals already and doesn’t look as though he is going to slow down.
And today the striker turns 27 and the club have released this lovely birthday message as they way of showing some gratitude.
