Liverpool are set to enter the race to sign Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna according to Italian source Gianluca Di Marzio.

The 30 year old right-back is out of contract in the summer and thus far the Gunners have failed to tie down the French international to a new deal, leaving the way open for a possible free transfer switch that could net Sagna a lucrative contract elsewhere.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers has had issues with his full-backs on both flanks with the likes of Martin Kelly, Glen Johnson and Jose Enrique suffering with form and injury concerns.
Sagna is also being tracked by Inter Milan and there may well be offers from Ligue 1 for his services but if he were to consider staying in the Premier League one would imagine Liverpool would need to have secured a Champions League berth to secure the talented defender.
Arsenal club policy is to offer only one year deals to players of 30 and over and this may be an obstacle to his continued presence at the Emirates Stadium and as such Liverpool would need to offer a longer term deal to attract his interest.
