The big Slovakian has enjoyed a good run in Merseyside but has seen his influence diminish over the past two years as the inconsistent performances have added up and the time may be right to ship him out to pastures new.

Still able to command a healthy transfer fee, there will be no shortage of offers for his services (Napoli, probably) and the money acquired for him would be well spent on bringing in somebody to replace him.
