Surridge, who has been in electric form alongside Luis Suarez this season, is believed to be amongst the first that will hold talks with the club’s hierarchy over a new and improved deal at the end of the campaign.
Philippe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson, Glen Johnson and Jon Flanagan will also sit down with club chiefs to discuss fresh agreements.
Club owners Fenway Sports Group had previously made a point of not holding new contract talks mid-season, with the only exception being Luis Suarez at Christmas when he put pen-to-paper on a new four-and-a-half year deal amid worries that he would be making an exit during the January transfer window.
And manager Brendan Rodgers, whose own deal expires in 2015, is also set for talks, though he expressed his desire to see the club tie down its young talent to longer deals first.
Sturridge only joined in January 2013 but the February Premier League player of the month has been a resounding success on Merseyside, scoring 23 goals in 27 matches this season and an incredible 34 times in 43 games since his £12million switch from Chelsea.
