Spaniard frustrated at lack of opportunities.
Liverpool striker Iago Aspas has apparently told the club that he wants to leave the club when the transfer window re-opens in the summer after growing desperate at the lack of first team opportunities, according to the Metro.

The 26-year-old only made the move to Anfield last summer in a £7m deal from Spanish side Celta Vigo, but has struggled to break into the Reds starting XI this term thanks to the electric form of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
The Spaniard has just one goal in 14 appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ side this term, with his sole strike coming in a 2-0 FA Cup victory over Oldham.
But with chances limit, he is aware that his situation is not likely to get any better next term either with manager Brendan Rodgers looking to make some significant additions to his squad following what looks to be a top four finish for the club.
“I am not 20 years old anymore,” he said. “I can’t go on loan and explode.
“I think the best would be to transfer to another club and that I find the best fit for myself and the club.”
