The prolific England international has been in eye-catching form in front of goal for the Merseyside giants so far in this campaign, with Sturridge having so far managed to register an impressive 24 goals and nine assists in just 31 matches in total in all competitions for both club and country, including an equally impressive 20 strikes in only 25 Premier League outings for the Reds.
And everyone at Anfield will now be hoping that the 24-year-old can continue that kind of red-hot form against City this weekend, a match that the Englishman has been preparing for by playing a relaxing game of dominoes with the likes of uncle Dean.
