With rumours abound that David Moyes is set to be sacked as Man United boss Football Direct News claims that Juventus manager Antonio Conte is in the running to fill the Old Trafford hot-seat.

With Man United set for a seventh place finish having suffered 11 Premier League defeats thus far this term it’s no surprise that David Moyes would be set to be axed and Italian Conte is certainly adequately qualified to fill the post.

Conte looks set to lead his Turin side to a third successive Serie A title and has the track record to take the reins at Man United and has the gravitas that will earn him the respect of the club’s top performers.

Though Moyes is less than a year into his six year Man United contract the former Everton manager seems doomed and his side’s limp and lifeless defeat at Goodison Park on Sunday was perhaps the final straw for the club’s owners.
