Manchester United have suffered a massive loss during the reign of David Moyes.
Sacked Manchester United manager David Moyes’ troubled single season stint at Old Trafford has cost the club a massive 50.4 million pounds, reports the Telegraph.
Moyes managed the Red Devils to their worst ever season in the Premier League era by only managing a 7th place finish this term, and with the English giants slipping out from the UEFA Champions League qualification positions as a result, they have lost plenty of dough.
Moreover, Moyes’ reasonably high yearly salary of £7 million also contribute to the losses. Missing out on the Champions League has reportedly cost the club a further £35 million, while finishing 7th from 1st position this season meant a drop in Premier League revenue of £8.4 million.
While Manchester United are seeking to put this season’s nightmare behind them and back their new boss in waiting Louis Van Gaal with a massive transfer war chest, it remains to be seen whether they can regain their lost ground as the most feared and biggest club in England.
