Wide man is now set to feature in the Barca first team going forward.
Forward Gerard Deulofeu will not be returning to Everton on loan again next season following the announcement that Luis Enrique is to be the new FC Barcelona head coach, according to reports in the Daily Mail.
The highly rated Spain Under-21 international has just enjoyed an excellent season-long loan spell with the Merseyside giants.
Deulofeu, 20, managed to register four goals in total in his 29 matches in all competitions for the Toffees last time around, including three strikes in his 25 Premier League contests for his new team.
And as a result, Everton head coach Roberto Martinez was known to be desperate to keep hold of the Spanish starlet for another campaign.
However, that will not now be possible after the Catalans confirmed their former midfielder as the successor to the recently departed Tata Martino in the Camp Nou dugout next season, with Enrique immediately demanding the return of the player to Catalonia.
