In-demand West Ham United midfielder Mohamed Diame has confirmed that he still wants to quit the east London outfit this summer, with Premier League giants Liverpool one of the player’s possible next port of calls, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The powerful Senegal international has not hidden his desire to walk away from the Hammers in order to achieve his dream of playing for a big-name club in the Premier League.
“Liverpool? I can’t tell you if I will be a Liverpool player next season. But I think my name is still on their wanted list,” said Diame recently regarding his future in the capital.
“I don’t hide it, I’m ambitious and I want to join a top-six side. I am 26 years old and it’s time to take that step.”
And with the box-to-box midfielder having a reported £3.5m release clause in his contract with West Ham, then a cut-price move to Anfield when the summer transfer window reopens for business cannot be ruled out, especially with his current employers said to be unwilling to match his £80,000-per-week pay demands.
