The Dutchman has been granted a hefty kitty to buy new players.

It looks set to be all change at Manchester United this summer as new manager Louis van Gaal has been given a £200m transfer kitty by the club, according to the Daily Express.

Veterans Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic have already said they are leaving Old Trafford and expected to be followed out of the club by Anderson, Tom Cleverley, Patrice Evra and Nani.

Van Gaal is expected to go on the hunt to inject some new talent into the squad and here is how the 62-year-old is likely to spend his budget.

William Carvalho, Sporting Lisbon

It was the Dutchman’s predecessor David Moyes that started this ball rolling when the Scot sent several scouting parties to Portugal to watch the midfielder.

Carvalho has been impressing with Sporting this season and the 22-year-old is expected to be a key part of the Portuguese national team at the 2014 World Cup.
