Liverpool are set to go up against Serie A champions Juventus in the race to sign highly-rated Lazio midfielder Antonio Candreva this summer, according to Football Direct News.

According to reports in Italy, the 27-year-old could be in line for a salary increase three times what he currently earns if he opts to join Juve or La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, who have also been credited with an interest in his services.
However, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is still believed to be interested in bringing him on board, and will go up against the title winning duo this summer to win his signature.
Lazio exercised their right to co-own the Italian midfielder last year but strained relations between the two Italian clubs could only serve to hasten his exit.
He was in impressive form for the capital based club last season, bagging 12 goals and clocking up nine assists, and both he and his representatives had been hopeful of securing a lucrative new deal in order to reward him for him efforts.
However, the latest report claims the club did not provide any reassurances on this front and the parties are seemingly a long way off any kind of agreement.
