The 23 year old Welshman had been the subject of interest from the Catalan side mid-way through last season when he was in the middle of a fine run of form and following his successful return from injury it appears that the La Liga side have once again sat up and taken notice.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has no plans to sell the former Cardiff City man and will be all too aware that Ramsey’s enforced absence last term coincided with the club’s drop in form, ending their push for a Premier League title.
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are also monitoring Ramsey who Pep Guardiola sees as a potential replacement for contract rebel Toni Kroos.
Ramsey arrived at Arsenal in June 2008 and has suffered with extensive injury issues, most notably missing eight months following a reckless tackle from Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross that broke his tibia and fibula.
The intelligent midfielder had a standout campaign in 2013/14, scoring 16 goals in all competitions including a superb winner in Arsenal’s FA Cup final win over Hull City.
