Barcelona look set to make Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus and Atletico Madrid playmaker Koke two of their top targets for this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Catalan giants are expecting to make major changes to their squad this summer as they prepare to ship out a number of their first-team squad to make way for some fresh blood in a bid to improve on a highly disappointing trophyless campaign in 2013/14.
New manager Luis Enrique could be set to let the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Pedro Rodriguez leave the Nou Camp in this transfer window, while former Arsenal man Cesc Fabregas is reportedly close to sealing a return to the Premier League with Chelsea.
Reus and Koke have been among the best attacking players in Europe this season, and they could now get the chance to form a mouth-watering partnership at Barca next season if the club can agree deals to bring them both in.
Germany forward Reus has long been linked with a move to England with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, while Koke also has suitors in the Premier League with Chelsea thought to be looking at him.
It remains to be seen if Barcelona will be able to pull off this ambitious double swoop, but it is a clear statement of intent from the club to re-establish themselves as a force in La Liga and Europe.
