Muller and Lahm have both agreed new deals with Bayern.
Philipp Lahm and Thomas Muller have both agreed new contracts with Bayern Munich and therefore serve a transfer blow to Liverpool and Manchester United.

Both the Reds and United had been interested in signing Muller, after speculation that the Germany international had grown tired of head coach Pep Guardiola’s rotation policy at the Allianz Arena, reports the International Business Times.
Despite not being in the Champions League next season it was thought that the Red Devils were leading the chase for the 24-year-old, due to new manager Louis van Gaal’s strong relationship with the German.
Muller worked under van Gaal for two years at Bayern between 2009 and 2011 and it was thought the Dutchman could attract the forward to Old Trafford.
Yet this new deal sees the attacker extend his stay with the Bundesliga champions until 2019 and the 13-time Premier League winners will now have to look elsewhere for recruitment.

Lahm meanwhile has also signed a two-year extension that will see the versatile 30-year-old stay with Bayern until 2018.
