PSG, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Napoli still keen on Reina.
Liverpool’s Spanish goalkeeper Pepe Reina may not have the same importance at Anfield anymore, but the 31-year old is now turning out to be hot property on the transfer market, according to talkSPORT.
Reina’s most recent club Napoli were hesitating to make the Spaniard’s loan move permanent this summer, but since their interest in the former FC Barcelona man has evidently dropped, the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are now keen to sign him up.
It seems unlikely that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers would keep Reina after the ‘keeper openly criticised the manager, which means that a new adventure beckons for Reina.
Reina still has two years left to run on his Liverpool contract, which means that the Reds can demand £5 million to sell their experienced shot stopper, but it is the Spaniard’s lofty wage demands that could prove to be a stumbling block for most teams other than cash rich French club PSG.
