According to Radio Marca, he could link up with Paul Lambert’s Aston Villa for a loan stint, with the English side talking over a loan with Valencia.
Cissokho has fallen down the pecking order at Valencia, and is now on the lookout for a move elsewhere in a bid to resurrect his career, and may now get a second bite of the Premier League cherry with Villa.
Cissokho chalked up 15 appearances for the Reds, helping the club to a second place finish, and the 26-year-old has hailed his time with the club, cementing himself as a firm Liverpool fan in the process.
Villa boss Paul Lambert is said to be on the lookout for a new left-back having recently allowed Antonio Luna to join Italian side Hellas Verona, thus leaving him with the unconvincing Joe Bennett as his first choice.
