Last season saw United suffer their worst ever Premier League finish, but with hope renewed under Louis Van Gaal this time around, the club will be hoping that their strike force will have enough about them to fire them back to victory.

Juan Mata

Mata suffered for his versatility last season. Having been frozen out by Jose Mourinho at Chelsea he thought he’d be given a new lease of life at Old Trafford, only for David Moyes to continue his record of ineptitude by failing to figure out how best to use him. It took him a while to get off the mark, and he even found himself back on the bench as the season inched to a close. However, under Louis Van Gaal he can be expected to play a more pronounced role and hopefully rekindle the sort of form that once made him so highly rated.
