The Cameroonian was struck by something hurled from the stands.
There has been some truly shocking news from the Algerian league as JS Kabylie striker Albert Ebosse was killed on Saturday after being hit by an object thrown from the crowd.
The Cameroonian striker scored the only goal of the game for his side in a 2-1 loss to USM Alger from the penalty spot and later died due to injuries suffered when hit in the head by a missile from the stands.
“JS Kabylie’s Cameroonian striker has lost his life after being hit in the head by something launched from the stands,” a statement from USM Alger read, as quoted by the Guardian.
