AC Milan are in talks with Liverpool over taking midfielder Suso on a season-long loan. Reports suggest that the offer includes a view to a permanent transfer next summer.
The Daily Mail believes that the 20-year-old move is set to become Milan’s second Premier League import in the space of week, following former Liverpool striker Fernando Torres’ switch from Chelsea.
Suso officially arrived at Anfield from Cadiz CF in the summer of 2010, but has only made 20 appearances in total since making his debut in a Europa League victory over Swiss side Young Boys in 2012.
The Spaniard spent last season on loan with La Liga side Almeria, scoring three goals in 33 appearances as the club narrowly avoided relegation – finishing in 17th place.
However, he is likely to find it difficult to fight his way into the Liverpool team, following several midfield additions earlier this summer, which strengthened an already packed Anfield midfield.
Liverpool and Milan are believed to be on good terms after the smooth sale of AC striker Mario Balotelli for a fee of £16m, and the Reds are open to allowing Suso to go out on loan.
