Old Trafford side ready to sell Ashley Young; Southampton, Sunderland and Aston Villa all interested.
Man United will look to sell Ashley Young in January and there are a host of prospective suitors queuing up to snap up the England man according to the Metro.
The 29 year old has seen his chances of regular first team action under Louis van Gaal well and truly quashed by the arrival of Angel di Maria and now his former side Aston Villa, Southampton and Sunderland are ready to fight it out for the Old Trafford misfit.
A move away for Young may well suit all parties and could serve to rejuvenate a career that has arguably started to stagnate though a great deal will depend on just how much Man United look to earn from his sale.
Man United paid £17m for Young back in 2011 but one imagines they’d accept around half that fee today.
Young has scored 8 goals in 65 Premier League appearances for Man United.
