The 32-year-old trained with this new teammates on Monday morning and is expected to play the first match of his ten-match stint with the newly rebranded club in its season opener against Sydney FC on Saturday.
Villa, Spain’s all-time leading goalscorer, fronted a press conference on Monday afternoon after getting to know his teammates over lunch.
