Madrid captain Casillas has spoken openly about the problems he has faced at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in recent times and also what his plans are for the future.
Both the Gunners and the Reds are on alert after the 33-year-old admitted that he has thought about playing abroad.
“I’ve thought about leaving Spain. These past two years have made me fight and become stronger,” the Spain skipper was quoted by the Daily Star.
