Premier League hopefuls set to miss out on starlet midfielder.
Premier League trio Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have been handed a transfer blow after Paris Saint Germain confirmed they have offered a new deal to midfield sensation Adrien Rabiot, the Daily Express confirms.
The France international was constantly linked with a move away from PSG in the summer, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all credited with an interest.
The midfielder has seen his first team opportunities limited so far this season as he vies for a place in the starting line up alongside the likes of Marco Verratti, Blaise Matuidi, Thiago Motta and Yohan Cabaye.
He has entered the final year of his deal in the French capital, with many believing that he could be heading to England in the new year on a cut price deal.
However, reports this weekend are suggesting that the club are to offer the 19-year-old a new two-and-a-half year deal that promises him more first team action.
PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi revealed last month that Rabiot still wants to leave the club, meaning that the interested parties could all still land his signature.
“I love the kid – I think he’s a great player and I want him to stay,” Al-Khelaifi said.
“I have tried to get him to renew his contract, but without success. He wants to leave.”
