Not quite the team Rodgers fielded against Madrid as it would be difficult to call all of them second string, but several of those that started at the Bernabeu are featured here.
The back line is not bad at all, although Brad Jones in goal would be a concern and it would be hoped the defensive capabilities of Emre Can and Lucas Leiva in midfield would solve that, whilst the strike force is also lacking.
