Suso remains on the radar of the Italian club.
Liverpool winger Suso remains a transfer target for AC Milan, but the youngster’s agent has admitted that a deal is far from being agreed.
The 20-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the San Siro for some time after failing to establish himself at Anfield under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers.
Suso is now in the final year of his current contract with the Reds and reports in Italy suggested the Spaniard already has a pre-contract arrangement in place with Milan, which he would sign in January ahead of the switch in the summer.
However, the starlet’s representative Jaume Serra has denied this and says that whilst a move to Italy is a possibility, the player is keeping his options open for the time being.
“There is no agreement with Milan. It is certainly a possibility, but for now there’s nothing more to say,” Serra told Calciomercato.
“Rather, Liverpool are pushing for his renewal, so we cannot rule even this hypothesis out. At the moment, it’s too early to discuss any possibilities.”
There were also rumours that Napoli were interested in Suso, but this has been flatly denied.
“No, I’ve never had any contact with Napoli,” Serra continued.
“For now, we can rule out this possibility. There’s no interest from them.”
The Spanish attacker joined the Merseysiders in 2010, progressing from their academy two years later and spending last term on-loan with Almeria and to date has played 21 times for the Premier League club.
