Southampton are bracing themselves for a £15m bid from Arsenal this Janaury, with the Gunners eyeing French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, reports the Express.

Arsene Wenger is a big fan of the French international, and allegedly tried to bring him to the Emirates Stadium in the summer along with Calum Chambers.
With Southampton having already sold a number of key players however, they opted to block the move and hold on to their midfield general.
The Gunners are hoping to test their resolve once again this winter, with a £15m bid for the 25-year-old expected to be made.
The North London side are hoping to beat Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur to the punch, with Schneiderlin heavily linked to follow former Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino to Spurs.
Ronald Koeman has admitted that holding on to the hard hitting midfielder will be difficult, but hopes they will at least be able to retain his services until the end of the season.
“Keeping Morgan here will not be easy. We will have to see what happens,” he said.
