World Cup star could be on his way to Anfield…
Respected football journalist Tancredi Palmeri has revealed that Liverpool have outbid Inter Milan for the services of Bayern Munich star Shaqiri.
The Reds have apparently been interested in the midfielder since the summer, but the Swiss decided to stay then as he thought he could break in to the first team at the Allianz Arena. However, he has struggled for time on the pitch so far this season, and now seems set for a move away from the Bundesliga.
Arsenal by the Mirror, Liverpool and Inter Milan by the Metro, and Everton by the Liverpool Echo, have all been linked to the player at one stage or another. It now seems that Brendan Rodgers’ side have taken pole position in the race for the 23-year-old. They have apparently outbid the wages that the Serie A giants had already offered to the player by €700 thousand.
Here is the tweet by the Italian expert, do you think Shaqiri could be coming to the Premier League?
